General Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every purchase made at morawaa.com. "Morawaa", "we" and "us" refer to the shop operator, Morawaa, Wollzeile 11, 1010 Wien, Austria. "You" means the customer. Please read these terms before you place an order. Mandatory consumer protection rules of Austria, the EU or your country of residence always take priority over these terms.

§1 What we sell

Morawaa sells original framed art prints designed by Morawaa. Each print is produced on 200 gsm matte art paper and mounted in a slim wooden frame in natural oak, matte white or matte black, behind a clear acrylic front. The sizes we list (30 × 40, 45 × 60 and 60 × 80 cm) describe the artwork; the frame adds a little to the outer dimensions.

Screens display colours differently, so the printed colours and the wood tone of an oak frame may vary slightly from what you see online. Natural oak has its own grain, and no two oak frames look exactly alike. This is not a defect. Product photos are visualisations of each design in each frame colour.

§2 How a contract is formed

The products on our website are an invitation to buy, not a binding offer. By completing checkout you make an offer to purchase. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email. We only accept an order once payment has been received. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred; in that case any payment is refunded in full.

You confirm that you are of legal age where you live and that you are buying for private use, including as a gift, and not for resale.

§3 Changes and cancellations

Every print is made after you order it. You can change or cancel your order free of charge until production has started; contact us as quickly as possible at contact@morawaa.com. After production has started, you can still return the print under our Return Policy.

§4 Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in the currency shown in our shop. Any taxes are calculated and shown at checkout. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order and confirmed in your order email. Payment is processed by the payment providers offered at checkout. You confirm that you are entitled to use the payment method you select.

§5 Delivery

We deliver within Austria only. Delivery is free. Your print is produced within 1 to 3 business days and normally arrives 2 to 5 business days after dispatch. These times are estimates; carrier delays or events outside our control can extend them. More details are in our Delivery Information. Ownership and the risk of loss or damage pass to you on delivery.

§6 Returns and right of withdrawal

You may return an unused print within 30 days of delivery. Consumers in the EU also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items are replaced or refunded if reported within 7 days. The full process is described in our Return Policy.

§7 Warranty

The statutory warranty (Gewährleistung) under Austrian and EU law applies, generally for two years from delivery. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

§8 Liability

Within the limits of the law, Morawaa is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products. This limitation does not apply to personal injury, damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, claims under product liability law, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

§9 Copyright

All designs, images, texts and the Morawaa name and logo are protected by copyright and trademark law. Buying a print entitles you to own and display that print. It does not allow you to copy, scan, reproduce, sell or otherwise distribute the design without our written permission.

§10 Using our website

Please use morawaa.com lawfully. You may not attempt to disrupt the website, introduce malicious code, bypass security measures, or copy or scrape its content with automated tools. Our shop runs on Shopify; your purchase contract is with Morawaa only.

§11 Data protection

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Notice.

§12 Applicable law and complaints

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you usually live. Please send any complaint to contact@morawaa.com first; we aim to resolve it quickly. We are not obliged to participate, and do not participate, in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

§13 Final provisions

If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. We may update these terms; the version valid on the day you ordered applies to your order.
